Following the NYT, the Associated Press stumbles into new media

Last month, I wrote a post about New York Times' disappointing efforts in video blogging. Instead of using the medium to bring us something - how do I put this? - watchable, the guys at NYT decided instead to bring more celebrity gossip. Here's an excerpt of the post, where I describe the video:

To put it mildly, it's bloody awful. We got some guy with a voice that sounds like he's choking on Listerene talking to celebrities while calling himself "the Carpetbagger." Ew.

It seems New York Times isn't the only influential media outlet bringing us crap. In her daily video blog, Michelle Malkin showed how Associated Press has used the coming of a new medium to bring us Sex in the City redux.

And the mainstream media wonders why no one pays attention to them anymore.
